This enjoyable concerto, once attributed (in a different key) to Benedetto Marcello, is given a good performance here by Jozsef Kiss and is very well recorded. One might have preffered more dynamic contrast from the soloist, but his timbre is right for baroque music and he plays with plenty of spirit. This disc is well worth its modest cost for the C.P.E. Bach couplings.
